Scientists Found Breathable Oxygen in Another Galaxy for the First Time

Molecular oxygen is a key component of the air humans breath, and now astronomers have spotted it a half-billion light-years away. But don't hold your breath for quasar whippets.

Oxygen is the third most common element in the universe after helium and hydrogen, but many of them exist as molecules of water associated with hydrogen. For this reason, 'oxygen molecules' as if breathing by humans have not been found outside the Milky Way galaxy where the solar system exists. The existence of such oxygen molecules was first confirmed in galaxies more than 500 million light-years away.

Mannn we need to create a formula for a liquid that we can inject ourselves with so we can live along time cause I wanna be on that spaceship that’s going to the other galaxy

581 million light years. Right. Hitting that galaxy will only be possible with the tech in say 1000 years from now. Imma need to cryosleep for a millennium!

What I don't get is, they can detect breathable oxygen in another *galaxy* but can't even determine if a planet in our own galaxy has breathable oxygen.

Well scientist can you create 1 lightyear speed spacecraft

How did they get to that galaxy of it takes millions of years to get there

Question: What would happen if two planets, one with an atmosphere consisting essentially of hydrogen and the other with an atmosphere composed essentially of oxygen, collided violently with each other? Would the result of such a shock be a gigantic explosion, resulting in the appearance of a new star, or would the result be a new planet with a large ocean similar to the oceans of planet Earth? Would it be plausible that planet Earth resulted
from such a collision followed by such an explosion?

It may say their is oxygen their but nothing I'd exactly 100% so without going to another galaxy and discovering oxygen I'd say your facts are 50/50 what what do I know

It's True, the oxygen came from trees planted by Johnny Appleseed ,
There is also land ForSale there too, it will take you 100 light years to get there so you will be dead by the time you arrive, prices starting at $100, 000
Sorry No Refunds
