I do outside paint work, some colors we have to warn people about using. Light grays and light blues really like to pick up any colors around them. We did a deck with a solid light gray and the customer was so mad because his neighbor had a dark purple house, making his deck look purple tinted.

The outdoor colour is the same colour as the haze you'll see on hot days off in the distance. I always thought it was vapour in the air but it could be oxygen
