A Gibson Les Paul Studio is 1600. Epis are basically Gibson prices now (the lower end at least)

well… if you get the Epi 59, and greeny pickups to swap, you are looking at more than $1, 500. plus this Epi has that headstock!

It gets better if you look at what it's going for in Australia! In Australia they're selling it for close to $3k AUD (about $2k USD), I've seen proper Gibson LP standards going used for that price

I own an Epiphone Les Paul Modern, I love it but I paid only about 600 euro to buy it about 2 years and half ago. It has the same headstock and it sounds pretty good for my needs (I'm mainly a drummer, guitar is just my second instrument). 1500$ is simply too much, for that price I'd look for a second hand Gibson.
