Your right.. if it feels good, sounds good; it just doesn’t matter.

You can get almost any guitar to sound like anything these days. What does it feel like? How does it play?

This video gives Bonomassa nightmares.

Not a side by side. The Gibson is played clean while the Epi is in boost.

I own two Epiphone Les Paul's and they play like a hot knife going thru butter

I’ve literally sat on that bench and played a 1957 Telecaster and it still haunts me to this day that I’ll never own something as cool as that guitar I played

The new Epiphones are better than ever and play just as amazing as any Gibson IMO. The tone is still about only 80-90% as full as Gibson but that's negligible for a lot of players

My Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy is just an absolute beast.

You can tell musicians aren't scientists. Scientists would've played the exact same tune for comparison.

Looks great. Sounds great. What a color! I’m talking about the Epiphone, of course…

Only feel different is the fret material and the polly finish.. if epiphone changed that they would be there.... I believe they don't change that on purpose

Louder ain’t better…! It might be better.. but the comparison wasn’t fair at all…
So basically I learned NADA

24:48 very similar to what Govan said before. It’s not for everybody but making music for many is the best feeling and the point of this musical journey

It comes down to the amp and speakers. You can plug a potato into a 2k rig and itll sound amazing

I always say... the sound can be the same... but sometimes u pay for the feel and this feel is not hear by the listeners! Btw i love a good any branded guitar... dont play the game of the merchities!

I've owned 2 335 and a Paul Epi. You can make them work with aftermarket pickups! Quality is great!

Nothing beats low output well made guitar, the Epi sounds good for those that want that sound, but I don’t want high output thick lacquered guitars. That’s just me 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just got an Epi LP Custom with P90s. I figured it would be my project guitar. However, I really don't feel like modding it
now. Plays just fine. Shares time with my Gibson SG. and my American Ultra Tele.

I have an Epi SG standard, and it’s awesome! If anyone is even remotely curious about the newer “inspired by Gibson” line, give them a try. They’re surprisingly good, and you can pick up a used one cheap! A few inexpensive upgrades and you’ve got yourself a ripper!
