I think the order of the babies to be purged was the moment Cersei realized how much of a monster her son was. She knew about the bastards and was seemingly content with them living lives as long as nobody went to claim the throne.
This is the moment where Cersei realizes what her son was, and that she no longer had any control over him.

In the books it’s a way more touching scene (kinda), Cersei feels that Joffrey is out of her control and that they are surrounded by lickspittles and schemers, Tyrion reassured her that as hand he’ll help them get through it, and Cersei (uncharacteristically) praises him saying, “you always were a smart little devil” (or something like that) that’s about the only nice moment they have together.

If she never met Maggy the frog she mightve gotten over the death of her mother like Jaime did, but that prophecy ruled her life. My favourite part was when Qyburn heard about it and asked Cersei if her name was Maegi and not Maggy, a name used in essos to describe sorcerers. Also the sheep-woman that killed Drogo and Dany's child was called a Maegi.

I find it funny that out of all of Tywins children Tyrion is the most like him and if he had just accepted him as his son the Lannisters would of wielded way more power since Tyrion was better at the game then Tywin
