But it's not given here that √2 in 1/√2 is irrational. At first we have to prove that ✓2 is irrational

guys if u write this solution in exam u ll not get marks cuz first we have to rationalise the denominator if u still think im wrong then do what u want my school mam just told me this mistake many tutors had made

Sorry but this is the wrong way to do it as a can be zero which means b/a is not rational...instead you should rationalise 1/root2
