"it's funny you know all these AI 'weights'. they're just basically numbers in a comma separated value file and that's our digital God, a CSV file." ~Elon Musk. 12/2023

"Originally I named it OpenAI after open source, it is in fact closed source. OpenAI should be renamed 'super closed source for maximum profit AI'." ~Elon Musk

If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you…prevent inflation

I love this man for his grit, intelligence and he is willing to become unpopular because of his stance!

I love how he waits before he speaks, sometimes several seconds. He reeks of sincerity and intelligence.

id say we're lucky to have someone who isnt as morally corrupt as 99% of people would be in his position, he is a speciest and a good one !! id imagine working for him would be a dream job, working on anything he's directly involved in! team Elon all the way man!!

@7:48 His autism is so endearing. Speaking his thoughts plainly and finding amusement in the faintest of irony. This man is a world treasure. When you listen to him, you understand how perverted a good portion of the press is for bashing him and making fun of his autism every single day.

This man is on another level, yet he appears to have a sense of "common good" behind his efforts. When he says "we've got to have some counter point here", he's seeking a balance between growth and profits. Clearly his purchase of Twitter/X demonstrates his commitment to seeking a balance. He's definitely human, but worth heeding his thoughts.

The main issue with building the AI for me is that I can’t trust anyone to be honest and conscientious enough to train it properly in order to become something good for humanity.

⚠️ Elon Musk is my hero ever. There's no other person before or after that pushed the boundaries of what would be considered as "The impossible". Either in electric cars, solar energy, batteries, space exploration, freedom of speech, he's reshaping mankind. I can't believe he's only a simple human being doing all that. I couldn't do it myself better, could you ? 🎉🎉❤

It’s crazy how hard public media is trying to cancel this person

He still amazes me, how he could be just like most power hungry elite can be. He chooses to show us all how he still wants technology and the human race to live in harmony with no leader.

I finished watching oppenheimer. And this meet felt exactly like someone unwinding on oppenheimer's conduct and intention and future governance on the most destructive weapon of the world.
As he said- 'Now I have become death, destroyer of worlds'.

Three years...
Something about his demeanour in this video is very chilling.
I feel like I trust this guy. This is a great leader. I just wish I was American so I could try and work for him.

I consider myself a pretty informed smart guy. As such I realize there are people way more informed and way more knowledgeable in everything. Seeing Musk looking uneasy about this makes me uneasy. Like we need to start looking to be ready to run from the toasters.

Time will tell.

3 years out? Say he's wrong by a 100% margin, 6 years? We're living very interesting days, maybe the last ones.

This guy constantly interrupting him to push him for answers is infuriating!! I know what it’s like to need time to think to push out a proper cohesive answer when put on the spot and it’s aggravating to be interrupted when trying to answer because some things are not just straight forward. I like to hear his thoughts anyhow.

My guess was that we were 5 years away from a powerful AGI, but 3 years works for me, too. The key point is that it's like falling off a cliff. You're walking on perfectly safe flat ground until you reach the edge. Then all of a sudden everything gets very bad.
