I listened to the whole podcast. But I learned more about Sam from this little tirade right at the start (that Jordon quickly lifted him out of)
"Elon used to be my friend"
"His use of the platform has injured his reputation amongst the people that count"
So we learned 2 things right there.
He will drop friends if they don't have his liberal values
There are at least 2 classes of people, those that count and those that don't.

The only thing Elon has done with Twitter is make it much better, and much more free, which is the way it should be. I would much rather see what people have on their mind, regardless of how "disagreeable" it may be to me. I cannot stand racists, but they have a right to speak their mind. Let them make a fool of themselves, for all to see. It is not for any member of the public to decide what is right or wrong, unless it is clearly an infraction of the law.
