I have used at least 3 to 4 gems to calm the shadow sneasel in order to defeat and catch it but they shadow Raids so far are pretty worth it in my opinion I have gotten a bigger variety of ivs which is amazing

Really irritated its local raids. Never can get anyone in my town to do um and even going into town is all day thing which i cant do with work and everything. Ridiculous

I think I'm gonna skip these. I think Niantic is missing an opportunity to get people outside to raid with a crucial mechanic.
We should be able to stack purified gems to make the shadow pokemon even weaker that potentially/ideally someone could solo a 3* or maybe 5* if they had enough purifier gems.
Why? "Wouldn't that break the game?" You may say. Not really. It would help rural players/not enough players take down raids they normally wouldnt have the support for and it would create a group of hard core gamers who don't want to get a group together and let people play their own way.
Also, from what i hear the purifier gems dont really work. So, yeah, there's that too.

Date Jan. 30/2024. These are a huge waste.
- 1* are easy yes but not really enticing (meta relevant/can get the same from grunts/
- 3* are too difficult to solo. You'll end up using all your purified gems (10 gems = 40 shards = grinding grunts
- 5* good luck finding people.

I would want to know how much the purified gems do, if only there was a certain insider at niantic...

I’m maxed out of gems/shards. I have 5 purified gems, and shards stopped dropping.
