Thank you Dan, I've been confused, feeling bad and even depressed sometimes cuz my dominant side is bigger and stronger than the non dominant side. Thanks for the tips

Good to finally see a fitness youtuber mention the power the mind has over the body! The mind has *significantly* more power over the body than most people would think.

I have scoliosis too! My left side is my weaker side but I feel like the right side of my lower back is tighter for some reason. What i get from this video is to do more reps on my weaker side and stretching is key. Thank you for this informative video!!

Great video as always. One thing I do to try and prevent developing imbalances is switching sides between sets.
E.g. outdoors pullup bars are never perfectly horizontal. So switching hanging sides between sets prevents one arm from working harder.

When I was a kid I have been diagnosed with something similar to cerebral palsy . My left side wasn’t functioning properly . My left arm wasn’t fully straightened out . I had to think of straightening my arm . I couldn’t rotate my wrist . I can do only 90 degree rotation . I have had much weaker grip on the left hand than my right hand . That was 19 years . As of today i have been going to gym for the past 4 months trying to get stronger. I knew that if I start with unilateral exercises I will begin to struggle a lot . For example I can bench press 40 kg (max pr) for 5 on a smith machine is fine but when I shift to normal bench press I struggle with imbalances. I must start working on my left side alone . Ik I yapped but I never had someone to express these stuff . I hope whoever is struggling like me I wish you all the best and happiness and achieve these obstacles. You are not alone ❤

In simple words, this is indeed one of the best videos that can be used by anyone who is training apart from fixing muscle imbalances. Your content is so on point. And, it just so happened that a lot of the exercises that you showed in this video are a part of my training.

The problem is that I can't use the computer mouse with my left hand while my right is occupied.

my left quad is slightly smaller than my right and when i squat really heavy and i feel exhaused i tend to lean a little to my right (strong side) with my hip. I figured i have to work on hip external rotation more (and mobility in general, especially hip for my atg squats), get more activation in the glutes and do more unilateral work. It's gotten better already

“Drop your load.” FR though, quality vid. Been getting annoyed with a smaller left shoulder after some injuries limited its use. Good timing to drop this vid. Thanks for the quality content!

Awesome video.
I have scoliosis, my right trap, shoulder, and arm having less curves and shape than my left one, this is a genetic thing, but I already managed the strength part, both sides are equal in strength now after some dedicated work, with a combo of preactivation, mind muscles connection, isometrics, and extra reps.
My scoliosis appears when using the smith machine, I fix it by not grabbing the bar symmetrically, so both of my upper limbs handle almost the same load.

For me, doing lunges with one foot on a box, and side glute raises, helped my shore up lower body imbalances. I never really noticed the imbalances but felt that I could benefit from doing intense one-leg lunges rather than pile on the weight for regular squats, which always seems to tweak my back.

Thank you for producing this video!
I do believe it’s one helping out many of us. Perception, control and knowledge of the cues are so underrated, but have a tremendous impact on your strength and physique development, injury prevention and most importantly longevity.
Thank you very much once again!

when i got injured in the knee a few years back, i realized that starting with unilateral exercises is a good way to start your workouts. leave the ego at the door.
