It is so nice to see a president who is capable of talking intelligently about technology...and even more, is actually interested in it.

He is talking about something really important to technology: government involvement. Regardless of your political view, this is important and it's great that it's being covered by Wired.

Is there a single video with the entire interview that I could send to people?

the burning question now is: what role will Obama play in America post-presidency (if any)? i want to imagine that money and power aren't his goals, as much as leaving a legacy of helping lead American democracy and capitalism to a place where it works

America needs a real technology and medicine candidate. Vote for Zoltan Istvan of the Transhumanist Party.

Tools get better by using AI? Maybe, but NOT the use of the AI models as tools ! You may use AI to enhance tools such as machines, but what you cannot do is use the the AI-trained models by citizens as reliable tools by introducing data. You will get a bunch of black-boxes claiming to solve certain tasks, but you will not be able to understand or get any explanations regarding the algorithms involved. The only thing you can do is test against more data and make a Bayesian inference regarding, the AI.
