Old money don't buy 300, 000$ mclarens, they buy 3, 000, 000$ jaguars and ferraris from the 50s. 😅

True except for the cars. A Rolls Royce does not gain value(it's just as good as a bmw)and it is just as good as buying a Bugatti. The same goes for Bentley and other cars UNTIL it becomes a vintage car

Nice insight, though I think that the environmental part is just your own idea. This really should be thought of as old money vs no money. New high performance cars are often financed by Mr Big Hat No Cattle.

Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and Jaguars break down and depreciate in value. The only car that retain 90% of their value are Porsche.

You are projecting your "values" onto these select others. Ever heard of super yachts or biz jets? Your Tesla could burn their entire mansion to the ground if the battery packs up. CO2 is not in their calculation except to keep the estates gardens flourishing and that's not a criticism.
