Jim and Pruitt, listening to you two has corrupted my brain into a cesspool of fantasy genres. I've been working for over a year on a homebrew setting, incorporating elements of Dark Matter, Ultramodern, Call of Cthulhu, Spelljammer, From Software games, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Gundam, Grim Hollow, Cyberpunk... Somehow it's still coherent, and I can't wait for my players to finally make their characters. Thank you for being an inspiration for me to finally complete this monumental task.

MCDM's Strongholds and Followers, is one of my favorite 5e 3rd party books. Cool mechanics, art, flavor, and a pretty good adventure too!

Kobold Press' Midgard setting, and their associated Creature manuals, are my favorites.
The Midgard setting kinda reminds me of the world building style in the old BECMI 'Known World' setting from back in the day. Creating a fantasy world with cultures loosely inspired by real world antiquity.

One of my absolute favourite 5e books is Sandy Petersen's Cthulhu Mythos. I haven't been able to create any DnD world/campaign without a major lovecraftian influence and this book made it even more fun to do so for me.

The stuff you guys talk about with science fantasy and blurring the line between tech and magic is super interesting, and settings where artificers actually make sense always fills me with joy (I mostly play in FR and artificers just feel way out of place for me).
That being said, the other day I saw someone describe Lamordia from Ravenloft and I'm super excited to draw on that for a full setting, specifically the idea of a magi-tech society outright denying the existence of magic. They come up with plausible sounding science reasons these devices work, but if you lift the hood it's just tubes and wishes! "Of course this broomstick can fly, the decoupled isotrons are vibrated until they invoke reverse gravity and..." "Dude, it's a flying broomstick. That battery doesn't even connect to the rear"

Pruitt's beard game is off the charts in this video. Respect!

Nord games: ultimate bestiary- Revenge of the Horde & The Dreaded Accursed.

Awesome switch up and variety of trope-y monsters that players may not treat seriously anymore. Its not just an orc with a sword and an orc with an axe as far as differentiation goes. The flexibility it gives you for creating encounter groupings is awesome. You feel like you can create believable war parties or groups of minions that aren't all just mooks cut from the same cloth.

If I had the opportunity to play in an Adventures of Middle Earth game, I'd play as a Haradian elephant-jockey.

Wow, I had no idea Adventures of Middle of Earth was such as sought after book for 5e! I literally picked it up randomly at my local Half Price Books store just because it was for 5e. What's wilder is I had just moved out to this area, and it was my first time going to the store. :)

I can confirm Esper Genesis is amazing. I’ve been in a game for over a year and it’s fantastic. It’s super easy to drag and drop stuff from other 5e based books into it with a sci-fi coat of paint or it just plays great as is

Deep Magic and Creature Codex by Kobold Press are incredible. They add a lot but it's SO worth at least reading it over.

First time DM with my group and I've been watching you guys since the beginning. I can't stress enough how great your ideas and concepts have been for my budding DM experience. Best content out there. I just need a robust castle for my DM screen like Jim cause I feel emasculated whenever i see it.

I've used Kobold Press products right out of the gate. My first 5e book was somehow Tome of Beasts lol. I love their material and ran a 2 year campaign in Midgard with a followup campaign to come when in person gaming is doable again. Thanks for the further recommendations as I take you guys seriously. I luckily ordered Adv in Middle Earth Loremasters + Players Book when you guys first mentioned it sucks to see it so hard to come by now. Keep up the great work guys!

Thank you for this. As someone who's dipping into 3rd party content to inhance our Eberron campaigns (especially for an Aquistions Incorporated styled game in the setting running along side the Oracle of war) finding stuff that blends the adventures of Juels Verne and elements of HG wells in 3rd party content has brought alot of our short mini adventures to life for that group and enhanced the setting beyond what's just in D&D.
