Hollywood, watch out! Japan’s Toho just released ‘Godzilla Minus One’ and the world is stunned. Visually, it looks incredible and the story is possibly the best we have ever seen from a Godzilla film.

With box office hits not as reliable as they once were, studios are going to be need to tighten up and Godzilla Minus One just showed studios how.

What I loved about Minus One is it has themes you'll still be thinking about days later, and it doesn't talk down to the audience. It feels like Hollywood blockbuster directors nowadays think we're stupid and need to have every little thing explained, while making sure to cram in needless jokes and and action in every 10 minutes.

My son is the biggest Godzilla fan and I took him to see this movie today, it was such a great film. If you pay attention to the underlying story of this film you see it is not just about Godzilla but more about what happened in Japan after World War II, the people, family, about being brave and living. My 9 year old son, he loves it!

I was shocked at how good this movie is. Normally I'm trying to figure out why I should care about anyone who isn't a giant monster in Godzilla movies but I was truly immersed in most of the characters in this movie.

It's kinda hilarious how tonally different the two Godzilla films are, in one he's a baddass monster who fights big monke. In the other he is a terrifying force of nature representative of real life tragedy
