Besides, the phrase, who sits above the circle of the earth doesn't categorically describe a flat earth, anymore than the pictures the Apollo astronauts took of the earth do. And what about, Who hangs the Earth upon nothing?

I found out that Columbus knew the earth was round, he just thought it was smaller than it actually is. This is why native Americans were referred to as Indians because he thought he was in India.

The American public school system taught us the the church and the government at the time of Christopher Columbus and before though the Earth was round, I guess for the reason to discredit the church.
