I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.

Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.

I started the Youtube channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.

In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on Youtube which i am extremly proud of.

I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

Reshafted my driver 5 years ago to a 3 wood shaft. Sacrificed about 15 yards but it's definitely a fairway finder. Couldn't be happier with it.

Rogue 13.5 driver cut down by 2 1/2 inches. My driver accuracy has gone up massively and distance only fractionally reduced, probably the most sensible thing I have done in golf (other than having lessons of course). I tend to find 220 in the fairway tends to be fractionally better than 245 yards in the trees, bushes, river, out of bounds etc. Go figure

Mr. Harrison- Interesting tests! I suggest getting some extra weight into the head area of the new club so that it feels the same weight (swingweight) as your Epic driver, because if you have not done this the club performance may not be as good as it could be. Ralph Maltby states in his clubmaking book "For each 1/2" the club length is reduced, the head weight must be increased by 1/4 ounce" (despite its great size, the driver heads are quite a bit lighter than a 1 iron head).

Great video Liam as for your back fella if the pain is across your lower back which mine was get an MRI sorted because mine went completely.. broken disc. Said on a previous video don't make the same mistake as I did pal.... but I still play when I get the chance 👍

Great vid Liam, I did the same to my Callaway Rogue, had struggled with slicing and mis hits, but at the same time could bomb my 3 wood. So I cut it down to the same length and BINGO it works so much better...really pleased with the result, it’s deffo now a keeper.

90 pct of golfers will benefit from a 40-42" driver, 12-15 degrees loft.

Add 10g of lead tape to soften shaft. You will see...all about transference of energy to the ball.
