Since I'm allergic to a specific milk protein, I've been making my own nut milk for years now. I have a little tip to share, that I found out over the years: if you blend the nuts with some cinnamon, clove or cardamom powder, the milk will last a couple of days longer. They act as preservatives and give an extra touch to your milk's flavour. ;) Great video!
PS: Just a simple curiosity: did you know that "cashew nuts" are actually a fruit, not nuts? ;)

I'm allergic to dairy so I've tried every kind of of milk. My favorite is to mix almond and coconut, it's perfect for cereals! I use just almond for dinner recipes, recipes you don't want sweetness. And coconut is perfect for smoothies, ice cream, and diy frappichinos! Just some tips for people who may wonder what to use :)

Great info. Thank you. Back when our oldest was little, she was dairy allergic. As it was expensive or sometimes very hard to get soy milk, I learned how to make it at home. This is almost the same process and you can make half gallons as easy as pints; it just takes a little more time to process in batches.
