I ain't that familiar with the story in Women Talking, but the way it was told by Sarah Polley is very engaging and wonderful so it leaves you felling hopeful towards a brighter future at the end, and if I remember correctly, this is the finest adaptation I've seen on the silver screen since The big short, I guess she's the best contender in this category...wish it's hers .

That one does have to win All quiet on the western front, since like the old 1930 version that adapts the book by Erich Maria Remarque, it takes liberties but as an adaptation it deserves an Oscar

I think Living should win this. I was hoping that Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris would be nominated for this

All quiet on the western front

It didn‘t adapt the book one to one, it added things that were not in the original and it came to the right conclusions about what the book was trying to do

And it‘s just a really good movie also, so there is that 😊

I’d give it Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

I haven’t seen all the nominees and I would also have nominated The Batman, but overall I think that was my favourite screenplay of the year. I also would given it a nomination for Best Film Editing.

I still can’t believe the man who once wrote “My face is my warrant” is an Oscar nominee now!

I’d rather given the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplays to Top Gun: Maverick. Hands down! I’m glad they brought back Val Kilmer as Iceman in this even though it’s sad that he had throat cancer (just like Val in real-life even though he did beat it though, and is doing fine now)

Women Talking should win! Claire Foy was robbed for an Oscars nomination.
