I enjoyed this show being actually clean in terms of errors. I stayed up for the full thing and didn’t feel bored, surprising. It actually felt shorter compared to the previous shows

I suppose the best film category winner could actually, for example, be second best at everything. - i.e. is the most consistently all-round good movie of the year.

So sad Austin butler didnt win and elvis didnt get best picture or that banshees didnt pick up any awards. Havent seen everything everywhere tho and glad to see Goonies actor get recognition 😁

Thanks Mark. Shame Elvis didn’t win anything! Sounds like Everything Everywhere All At Once is a must see. Though if you didn’t understand it I have no chance 😆 pleased for Michelle Yeoh and Jamie Lee Curtis. Hugh Grant is turning a bit cantankerous in his older years.. seen a few miserable interviews from him. But then we never know what someone’s going through I guess 🍿 x

I was disappointed that Austin Butler didn't win Best Actor or that Elvis got nothing at the Oscars. The Academy never really liked the real Elvis so I'm sure, wherever Elvis is, he's having a good laugh.

Have only seen Banshees and Elvis so not qualified to say what film should win but if those two Elvis

far superior. Banshee became too cartoonish . Austin was brilliant. As an average film goer Whale and Everthing etc. did not appeal. Enjoy your reviews, but will go to see Far just to see what you disliked about it.

It was a bit a boring EEAAO won almost everything, how could anyone think Jamie Lee Curtis deserved an academy award, Angela Basset looked so disappointed, it seems like a popularity rather than performance contest, delighted for Michelle Yeoh but I think Cate Blanchett gave the far better performance
