Recently I spent some time in Chile with some great people. It was honestly one of the best weeks of my life. These tips are made from what I observed, and what friends who have lived there long term were able to come up with. These are necessary to know before you head down there, however very easy to follow.

Chileans are also very friendly! If you need to get directions or recommendations or just company, most Chileans will be willing to try communicating with you. Also, don't be afraid to reach out! English is becoming pretty popular, so finding someone who speaks English should be easy.

Tip 2 is outdated since gas has gotten too expensive and sometimes airplanes are cheaper. Tip 3 also needs a reconsideration as crime has increased a lot in the past few years

i was in chile one month ago. but i, m going to tell that chile is my homeland, currently i live in spain for approximately 23 years, in general is easy to move from one place to another from north to south due to there are low cost fight or domestic flight, so if you are planning to stay for a short period of time moving by plane could be a good option, i, m going to give one important advice never change your currency inside the airport, its better rates in the city center, but credit card are widely acccepted everywhere, best regards to every one.
