Dark souls 2 has the best parry sound

all of them are really good but dark souls II's is definitely the most unique and strange in a super super cool way. I love dark souls 2's parry sound the most as well, with Bloodborne following close behind and Sekiro as an honorable mention.

Also the sound of illusory walls and when you enter a memory sound really cool.

I still won't forget how an invader parried my attack, throw a huge fireball on my face, then proceed to switched his tiny-ass dagger into an ultra greatsword before he sent me to the shadow dimension.

something else i noticed with the parry (only tested this on heide knights) is that if you attack somewhere between halfway through them falling you'll do a bit more damage

I love the punch parry, it's usable upon guard-breaking forms of some opponents.

Ds2 is not just power stance, weapon art as well and the fact that u can parry with weapons too is amazing, amazing parry sound, but what when u do a super parry with a slow 4ss weapon??? 💗

That's the parry sound from DS1 though. I forgot what Demon's Souls had but it could be from that even.

Still agree though I guess lol, DS1's sound effects were fantastic

Love the parry sound in this game and pairing that with this being my most favorite souls game it's just perfection. Strangely it sounds like a "ding" sound to me but I love it, nothing like just parrying these guys just for that sound though 👍

When you turn off the hear through function in Jabra wireless earphones they make a very very similar sound it's quite funny.

the sound is cool but what makes me think more, is that you can parry with hand easily and the sword doesn't damage you hand wth.

Replayability.. well im on NG+7, and i dont replay many games. Esp not over a course of nearly a decade.

Ive much love for DS1, and some for DS3 (poise is broken in 3), but DS2:SotFS is prob my fave game of all time. It and DS1 stay installed on every capable PC i own. You DS2 haters can go eat a Richard.
