Yamaha R7 Lams, stage 3 tune and Yoshimura exhaust

The Yamaha R7 Lams is limited to 45 horsepower but this engine is cabale of 70 hp with all restrictions removed and a flash tune to suit. But more than that to look at you can see there's someting differnt about this beast because we've remove the airbox and replaced it with DNA Oval pod filter.

The tune is available here and includes DNA filters HO throttle plate DNA engine breather filter and the flash tune.

What did you guys do about the throttle plate? Its only throwing 66% on the lams.

Hi guys,
I have just bought a 2023 r7la and I'm keen on putting the full yoshi system on. Several people have advised a tune as their bike was leaning out. Is this correct? I live rural so it's a bit difficult to get a tune done. Cheers for any advice.

How much torque does it have after the tune up?

I think you met 70 foot pounds of torque not horsepower because it comes with more than 70 stock but you would be correct on the torque is just under 50 you brought it up to 70

So? Your goverment takes an ALREADY power castrated model and cuts THAT power down 40%? LOL Why even have a twin then? Just run a 350 single with 2 valve head

Theres no way it had 48 hp to start. R7 is rated at 72. To the wheel should be at least 67. After a full exhaust and a air filter it should make at least 70-75

Isn't it sad that a 25 year old Ducati 748 stock has more power than the R7 after a stage 3 convert.
