In this video we tune the Ho version of the Yamaha R7 and compare the results with a de restricted and tuned Lams version. The Lams model is a 660 cc and the HO a 690 cc. Watch the video to see what we discovered.

Currently working on a lams r7, MVR pod filters with carbonsmith velocity stacks and a cam upgrade. Should see over 80rwhp

Make me realise the Ninja 650 Lams is in some a better base engine to modify. I’ve picked up a few damaged Ninjas to make into track bikes, the ninja throttle body is a lot bigger than the MT throttle body to start with.
Only have the throttle stop to remove to make it fully unrestricted. No intake restrictions at all. (Talking 2017 +)
Just wish Kawasaki will 270 degree it’s crank

So I have a lams mt07 from what I’ve seen from this test there is no point on going to the mt07 ho right

These motors also aren’t the same as the MT-07 HO motors. They’re built with sustained RPM in mind, which the regular HO motor cant deal with

So strange. I got my lams r7 destrocted and tuned just the other day and it got 73.1hp.
