Takeaways
• 5 point agenda on border issues.
• Indian has imposed economic sanctions on China.
• Military mobilization on both sides.
• Dialogue is a positive sign.
• Restoration of status quo ante -the intention matters more than the dialogue.
• Offensive measures taken by India to give a clear cut message. Border issues and normal issues cannot be bifurcated.
• A long haul is expected at the border.
• Chinese follow realpolitik more than agreements. Example Barak Obama experience in the South China Sea. They will keep pushing until they see real resistance.
• Map ambiguity in both areas. LAC is not defined on the ground.
• Chinese salami strategy, take Kazakhstan's sacred border. China does not recognize the Macmohan line and changes stances when it suits it.
• Regional stability is in China's interest and not petty border capturing.

*indo-china*
1- the current is not to advantage of either side.
2 - bilateral relationship ruined.
3- effects can be severe.
4- given enough amicable time, shown our resolute by getting to height of F4.
5- its a " tug of war" situation a both countries want to capture unoccupied peak to get tactical and stratigical advantage.
6-solution- increase pressure points like doklam, chines have habit of moving ahead till they face the resistance.
7- the present LAC it itself a new reality dated back to 1962.
8- 2013, 2014, 2017 repeated again.
9- chines follower incremental increasing place.
10- with same problem with tajeskistan.
11- china don't accept any of British India Tibet treaty but in doklam they gave 1880 proof.
12- all of sudden they want to change their claim lines.

Firstly, I fully agree with Mr Pramit that there would be no restoration of Chinese apps in the future even if border tension discalate but if we does then according to my view, we would be way more fooler than what china would probably assume.
Secondly, this is something which had been happening in the past as well that whenever tension escalate at the border & when negotiations takes place, We are the ones who are always told to go back first from the escalation point.l think time has now come to change that stand & tell china to go back first because we have been backstab several times in the past not just by china but Pakistan as well.
Thirdly, We must start easing out too much dependency on china as far as economy is concerned. They no longer can be trusted. We must find an alternative solution as soon as possible.

dear indian government and military forces chief just like china india should make missile proof bunkers on the whole border of LAC and LOC in Jammu and Kashmir immediately on Combat Control effect. This will prevent the terrorists and intruders of pakistan and china PLA army to enter into Indian territory whether Jammu Kashmir Laddakh and Arunachal Pradesh.

Agreed with India stand on status quo- China's expansionist policy is creating turmoil in the region. This is big threat and must be addressed by global community

China's current policy would not suffice the economic aspirations bilaterally.

Inspite of fighting overcoming with corona panadamic China is focusing on its expansionist policy.

Step of chaina is treat to mankind.

India must remain stand clear on its stand irrespective of anything. Sovereignty, Integrity and respecting the value system is culture of India but we are also ready do deal with any situation when it comes on the integrity and pride of Nation.

Jai Hind .🙏

India china relations
Both agreed to 5 point approach on sidelines of SCO.
First Physical meeting so conversation is more frank than online meetings.
India imposed economic sanctions on China.
India made clear no status quo without disengagement on Chinese side.
Now India is trying to show that it is capable of taking offensive measures also. India does not want to give strategic or tactical advantage to China.
Chinese do not take agreements seriously according to Obama.
China have always followed encroachment strategy.
In LAC in laddakh we refer Johnson line and in other areas McMahon line.
India will not remove economic sanctions on China like banning of apps, cancellation of tenders from chinese companies, Restriction on FDI from automatic route etc

China will remain threat for India what so ever be the agreements China will never abide any one if them so Long term policy of same th magnitude and adherence that of Pakistan is needed
