Lesson 24 of our study of the book of Revelation continues with a discussion of the cause for which God had something against the church in Ephesus—that they left their first love, indicating a deliberate turning aside from an initial love they had for the Lord. Pastor James Knox notes the amazing fact that the Lord of glory values our love, and that God himself feels loss when we do not give him all of our heart. Finally a brief discussion of verse 6 describes ""the deeds of the Nicolaitans""—which was the exalting of some saved people over other saved people.

A good reminder to keep that which we had at the start of our salvation. The love of and proper place of our great God and Saviour. Amen and thank you Bible Baptist Church for your continual work for the Lord and our edification.
