Don't replace your genuine Kawasaki two barrel carburetor, clean it on the engine with GumBuster and keep it clean with PurgeGas by CleanCarburetor. Easy and quick way of cleaning all carburetors. Install purge valve in place of solenoid valve and fill carburetor with GumBuster. Let the solvent dissolve the gum for 15-20 minutes, drain the solvent, reinstall solenoid valve and start your engine. Let the engine run for 15 minutes to further remove the gum. Before storage do the same thing but use PurgeGas to remove all the remaining fuel from inside of the carb. It will leave the carb like in a brand new condition and sure start next season.

Good idea! Even as a maintenance thing if they are affordable enough you can do it how ever many hours i would like to see the long term effects from someone who used it for a long time

You make the removal of that solenoid valve so easy. Mine stripped 1st attempt using the correct wrench. This on a Kawasaki FX801V with only 117 hours. =(

We've been working on the kits for motorcycles as well and we'll be releasing the first kits in spring of 2020. To see one of the first GumBuster application on the motorcycle pictures please see our CleanCarburetor Facebook and Instagram post from September 14, 2019.

If you would like to order the purge valve and GumBuster please place the order here (part number SKU 200110):

The purge valve gets installed on the bottom of the carburetor. The GumBuster fluid dissolves the gum inside the carburetor allowing the fuel to flow through the jets again. With this, you'll be able to start your snowblower engine again.

If you would like to order a new genuine carburetor with the purge valve already installed and Purge Gas (part number SKU 200070):

At the end of the season, drain fuel out of the carburetor, connect the purge gas to the purge valve and with a few blasts remove all the fuel from inside of the carb. The carb will be left like in a brand new condition over the storage period.
