Netflix is the Top media streamer right now, and they're fighting harder than all streaming companies to get more money from their consumer base. This may end up shooting them in the foot. Being at the top and penalizing your customer base is not a good look.

While they are doing this to try to save their business and not for security reasons, this is going to indirectly help with security a bit by discoiraging people from sharing their passwords. Most idiot people who share passwords lile this never understand the additional risk that gets added on as a result. You are literally having devices share and store password information across multiple networks in plaintext that you dont even control. Think about that.

Nop. It is now worth. Recenty only my children are washing some Cartoons on Netflix. I just don't have such amount of time to spend on washing Netflix but also there is nothing interesting to me now. Not mantion about how Netflix try to force content with LGBT+ (also in cartoons for 3yers old viewers). Summerazie it I guess if thay implememnt something like this in EU where I am living now I think I will just put my resignation :) Thank You.

Honestly I can’t blame them. They still have the best over all content, but it’s not their fault they have lost a lot of content. Streaming services is the new cable and everyone wants their own service. Netflix let password sharing go one for years and the fact that they are only going to charge $3 is still far better than charging full price. No reason for people to get upset with netflix for still allowing password sharing for a very small fee.
