They imagine that they can control where you are and that everyone is just in the same house all the time 😂😂😂 sounds like an excuse to me…. I’m a uni student of divorced parents. WE SHARE AS A FAMILY, even when not under the same roof.

How is what they're doing not against the law? They specifically told everyone to share the password, now bait and switch they want all password users to pay. I'm pretty sure there should be a class action suit being brought to Netflix soon in Canada and the USA. I will sign up right away.

This is nothing but a money grab. They already have the ability to restrict the number of simultaneous streams running on an account. So limit accounts to the number of simultaneous streams and let the account holders figure out how they want to use those streams!

Love is password sharing...guess there no more love in the world...some corporate guys will be fired for this, they are overspending on an assortment of junk content lately and decide to make consumers who are already financially stressed to pay for it. Will be cutting the Netflix soon as well. Too many other services out there.

Well I hope this is the outcome they wanted. There is no way I'm paying almost $20 per month for Netflix and then an additional $8 for any family members/friends who don't live with me. Most of their popular shows have been cancelled anyways.

I am a Canadian but live in Germany, what I did was to get the standard with adds. The kids profile for my Grand kids when they come over has no adds ( I baby sit a lot ) and it saves me €8.00. So with the money saved I got Disney + so I get double the content for the same amount of money. Grand kids happy win win.

Jokes on them. I'm just going to give my family access to my VPN server here at the house and my Gigabit Internet up and down will be more than enough to run Netflix for the all of them.
