Thank you for this video! I am finishing a Regency spencer today, and the original I am basing it off if has thread loops for the closure at the wrists. In all my 19 years of sewing I have never had to make these before, so was super happy to find your very clear and concise video!

Thank you for this tutorial! I knew the way it should look and I had a basic idea of how it should be done but needed the specifics spelled out. By the way, Running your thread through beeswax before you start sewing helps take out all the tangling and knotting. I know if you were not having to hold both sides down for filming, you would be able to use two hands and control the tangling. Beeswax is a great help for all hand stitching.
