How to create a Gradient Text instead of a solid color using CSS

Thanks, but I run into an issue. On Firefox (even pretty old ones like 56) and Safari it works perfectly. But on Chrome, it is like the whole font gets an outline that gets coloured as well, like an artificial "bold" mode. How to fix that?

What if the text is inside a li tag? Should I put it inside <p> tag or something?
