I'm convinced theres a selective black hole in my washing machine, thats where my socks go. Its comforting to know there's another universe where the other sock's gone.

If you didnt understand, then he made a preety good job communicating how physicists feel about the topic

The idea that a universe could exist inside a black hole is largely speculative and not supported by mainstream scientific evidence. However, some theoretical physicists have toyed with this notion, often within the framework of "baby universe" theories or as part of a broader multiverse concept.

In classical general relativity, the interior of a black hole leads to a singularity—a point where the gravitational field becomes infinitely strong, and our understanding of physics breaks down. Under such extreme conditions, it's not clear how a universe like ours could exist.

However, modifications to general relativity or additional physical principles might change this picture. For example, in theories of quantum gravity like Loop Quantum Gravity or String Theory, the singularity might be "resolved" or "smoothed out, " potentially allowing for different kinds of spacetime structures inside a black hole.

Another aspect to consider is the issue of information and causality. According to general relativity, nothing inside the black hole's event horizon can affect the outside universe, making it a causally separate region. If a "universe" did exist inside a black hole, it would be fundamentally disconnected from our own, raising questions about whether it could truly be considered a separate universe.

In summary, while intriguing, the idea that a universe could exist inside a black hole is not supported by current scientific theories. It remains a topic for speculative or philosophical discussion rather than empirical science.

black holes are the multiverse. inside every black hole in our universe is a universe. we are inside the black hole of another universe. black holes prove the multiverse.

Or maybe it's just a piece of matter really compressed that spins really fast

so many theories, one says that you'd leave our universe and go into another one, some suggest that since time almost comes to a stop as you get closer to the event horizon, this means time would reverse as you get beyond it.
Guess we'll never know unless we can send a device in and magically get the data transmitted out.

what goes in must come out. entire solar systems are sucked into these things, they don't just disappear.

Yeah that's because it is said that at the singularity point of a black hole there is infinite density so ... a new Universe inside there

What goes on inside black holes has to be possible to calculate, otherwise it leaves the realm of possibility. I don't understand how something can be infinitely dense, since you can't have infinite anything in the universe. Everything can be assigned a value, the same must apply for black holes

He’s basically saying that we could be inside a black hole of someone else’s universe and that they could be in a black hole of someone else’s universe

I was trapped in a black hole for years, there were others trapped there as well, called themselves Ohioans, very strange creatures.

Time is instantaneous from one end to the other so nothing exists inside for entering one side you immediately exit the other. Einstein rosin bridge, quantum entanglement. Like the butterfly effect.

What if that's because Black Holes last for a really long time and slowly radiate particles as they live, so what if you jumped into a Black Hole and over time it reconstructed you over billions of years allowing you to Travel through time. Like how star trek teleporters work.

That's exactly my thoughts on the matter, Neil. The Singularity of a blackhole is the exact same Singularity of a Biig Bang that creates a Universe expanding spacetime outwardly.

There is an Input/Import(Blackhole) and Output/Export(Big Bang). But which was first... it's a Chicken or the Egg situation.

The difference between what’s on paper and what’s reality is major. One day man will realize that black holes are the entries for wormholes and white holes are the exits.

I wonder if the mechanics of a black hole are not unlike a waterfall and things don't get compacted into infinite density but rather get spit out somewhere else

It's interesting that a number years ago when black holes were being theorized, I intuitively thought that black holes could be the portal to other universes because after all where is all that matter and energy going to ? ! And that our universe could also be the result of black holes in other universes spewing out matter and energy in our universe creating new stars, planets and galaxies ! It might also explain the so called BIG BANG of some 13.7 billion years ago ! Who knows if someday our astrophysicists discover this is true ? !

Picture infinite lines moving outward from a single point at the speed of light in every direction, then imploding in on itself tearing its mass to shreds releasing even more energy for the black hole to feed upon, due to massive gravitational forces that exist inside the event horizon, weve never seen this process, that's what I imagine it's like for photons to be trapped inside a supermassive blackmore
