Being able to discern what skill the particular question is trying to evaluate is a really important test taking skill that literally no instructor has ever mentioned to me.

I used to be one of those who could explain to the teacher why even though she marked my answer is wrong, it was still correct. She always ended up having to change my grade because I could always prove to her where my answer was correct. It may not have been a common answer, but I was always able to show her when it would be correct and, therefore, I was always given credit. She loved to use true false questions and did not understand that unless it was math or science, the world was not an absolute.

I went to school with a guy who was autistic when he was younger but "snapped out of it". He was a Physics major but instead of taking the physics math courses he took our mathie math courses. He took no notes and got 100%.
He helped me out with a math problem once. He explained things so simply and succinctly, it was amazing.
