I think the cheap ones are better if ur a beginner. Either way they both look very pretty 😍 also day 34 of asking the name Rachel ❤️

Should show how they look after they’ve dried. Idk why majority of watercolour shorts/reels/etc never show how the products look after drying.

If I made cookies at home, they would be burnt 💀

I think its super important when comparing pro brands to budget brands that lightfastness is also going to be a major issue with the cheaper brands. Even if you get similar results, the the colors are going to fade a lot more a lot faster. But not everyone is trying to archive their work so its not a bad thing, just important to know :p

I've seen people show how paper is more important than the paints. Which seems to be proven everytime I see one of these. I have yet to see a watercolor set no matter how cheap that wasn't any good even on good paper

Im always jealous of your handmade watercolours. I think they look so good on paper AND ON THOSE LITTLE CUP THINGIES! Uh I wish I had a whole collection of self made watercolours
I love the calligraphy! 🌸

I prefer the less expensive one tbh, id rather have less saturated colors and if i want more saturated id just stack em on top of each other.

Handmade metallic watercolour is the best! If you're from Indonesia I highly suggest you to try Dreamy Poppies watercolour. They're relatively cheap, only 20-35k IDR / 1.3-2.3 USD per colour!

I bought a $16 pallet off of Amazon half off with lots of colors. It's really great quality, and came with brushes that were better than most of the brushes I originally had. Just make sure to read up on what you're buying.

I've been told I have the best of both worlds. My grandma formerly handmade a LOT of expensive paints, so I keep some of her old ones, and sometimes she'll make me them. Meanwhile, my aunt started making paint paper to make my grandma proud. (our family has been making art tools or just making art for money for YEARS)

Could you do Peyton? I have two questions.
1. How long have you been doing art?
2. What got you into art?
