OMG, i see too many ppl complaining about the bleeding, including this video, while the solution is so simple. Me i just put a paper under my page, like that if it bleed, it would bleed on this paper and not on the others sketchbook's page. It's so simple of that. So i never use smooth paper, i always use my markers (acrylic or alcohol marker) on my sketchbook (moleskine or clairefontaine goldline sketbchbook) and i just put a paper between the page to avoid bleeding through. So it's great to say "beware of the big bad bleeding", but...there's very simple solution

Smooth, thick paper. You can now get severe brands of marker paper that is super smooth and thick like Bristol board.
