Knowing your measurements isn't a bad thing, it's actually a good STARTING POINT. However, I measure as a 8.75 on the Brannock scale. In reality I wear 9.5 in Nike. I wear 8.5 in Grant Stone. I wear 10 in Merral. I wear 8 in White's. Your feet will VERY RARELY fit in a shoe based on your length measurements and width measurements.

ALWAYS go with length in cm + 1.5 cm unless the manufacturer specifies to size down half a size or one size in which case subtract that from your shoe size calculated as foot length + 1.5 cm

no, Using this method, finding my length and going up one size for wiggle room as the tutorial stated, Says I should be wearing a size 9. I wear a size 10.5.

Your chart is wrong!
27.50 is 43 & 28.50 is 44and all the sizes have to be changed 2 sizes respectively!
Such an easy calculations and foot ware companies keep on messing it up not sticking to metric system!
Also you should learn from hockey boot companies! Not all feet have same width and there should be at least 3 different measurements for that.

I'm concerned about the width. My feet are wider than average, so while based on length alone I should wear a size 43 EU / 9 US, those sizes don't accommodate my feet comfortably. Currently, I'm wearing size 45.5 EU / 11.5 US and they fit well. For reference, my foot measurements are 27cm in length and 11cm in width.

Easiest way to measure your foot isn't
Iike that find a large cardboard box put in foot step against a wall of that box put weight on it reach down draw edges around get a ruler with cm and there you go no guessing always add a half cm at least if you have really wide foot its better to have some movement then try and stretch your 2 or 3 hundred dollar boots ! Good luck try it you will be amazed how easy and correct it works

I wear an Adidas US 9 but I got a pair of Jordan's US 9 and it was like Chinese foot binding.

Last year i had a foot study that took like an hour, standing, walking, thermo cameras etc, and determined I have flat feet, looking at the more accurate meassuring status of my feet. They are 270mm. According to this chart I should wear 8.50 and moving one size to the right I should use 9.0. Not true at all, most 10 size shoes are too snug, so 90% of the time I'm 10.5. These tables aren't a very accurate reference, its all about the feel and some space between your biggest toe and the top of the shoe.

like ALL the other shoe size stuff, from the US, UK mens and womens sizes are shown as the same, they aren't.
just use the EU system if you want to actually get the right size, like they do in china where the shoes are made.

My shoes varies in size depending on the type of the shoes that I'm buying. Although most of my shoes are US7 Eur 38.5. My smallest shoes is US 6.

This is the Standard Measurement, but Nowadays, every Bands and Models has their own Sizes. You Better Fit it in the Store that is why i don't online Shopping Shoes. You will Disappointed.

Good video but are the charts that accurate ? I did mine 24.5 but wearing high heels that equate to 23cm, I'm wearing shoes too small ??, now more confused.
