Name a better family-themed reality TV show, aside from Alaska: The Last Frontier. I will wait. The show follows four generations of the Kilcher family, who live outside Homer, Alaska, and shows them surviving in the great wilderness and weathering through Alaska’s tough environment. It is basically showing how to survive, but with more of a real, permanent lifestyle. Additionally, they don’t compete for a prize; they compete with their surroundings to survive.

The show premiered on December 29, 2011, on the Discovery Channel and has spanned over 10 seasons. Many people who know Jane Kilcher must have done so through her husband, Atz Lee, but recently she has been in the news for her comments about internet trolls, and we are here to bring to you what really happened to her. Jane is one of the stars of the show who really does shine in all she does. She is so funny, very smart, physically and mentally strong, can play a mean piano, make a wonderful cocktail and hunt down and kill anything from a bear to an enormous moose. She has stamina and I have never seen her sit down and give up on whatever she is involved in. She is also a very refined woman who was raised with wealth and yet can butcher and carry out a moose with the best of them. Jane is also beautiful and is slim; have you ever looked at her legs when it is summer time? Good grief, people, if there are any trolls out there against her, it is because they cannot measure up to her, to her loyalty and her character. I have been a fan of this show as long as it has been on television and I cannot honestly say I have a favorite; but Jane is pretty much at the top !
