Some scenes I colourized from the classic 60s thriller starring Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

This is genuinely gorgeous. And the discoloration of Davis' makeup makes Jane appear even crazier & disturbing.

I think the main reason why this film wasn't in color is because Bette Davis opposed to doing the film in color. She ended up saying that it would just make the movie look more of a "sad story look pretty."

Bette Davis created a character that is so real. So dangerous and broken. This is one of the top ten films ever made. The colorized version is perfect. I'd love to see the entire film colorized. Thankyou for sharing ❤️

It is very chilling in its own way. When she recites her lines and sings the song, dipping into denial and then being pulled back to reality, it’s just really unsettling to watch. I adore this movie, very interesting to see it in color!

When Bette repeats Joan's "Oh really? Did she like it?", it's actually Joan's repeating herself as a voiceover while Bette's mouthing the words.

Baby Jane looks more creepy and disturbing in colour than she does in black and white. LOL

Bette did a great job and let's be honest so did Joan. Joan's character makes the story work. They really make a great team. Too bad this is our only exposure to their electricity. I've often wondered what Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte would of been like if Joan hadn't been released from the project.

If someone had not seen this movie and known it was in black and white. Then they would have never known the difference. The color on Betty's face does this justice especially with her deranged behavior in this movie .... good job !
