After his accident, Atz Lee focused completely on himself, which was fine during his recovery. When he decided to build his cabin, he completely discounted Jane's feelings.

Atz Lee alwYs showered with romantic gestures. One episode he sent her radio message and she said it was weird .he always kissed her and made gestures to her she would shrugg it off. She never just said how she loved him or even just kissed him its not one sided..she showed more excitement with other members of family she always hunted and fished with other men. She always acted like she was ashamed of him

They were not the closest of couples. They wanted different things. After his accident he wanted to live further out in the wild but Jane always said she wouldn't move there. But he went and built the cabin anyway.

Surprised they lasted as long as they did. Atz Lee is a introvert and Jane is the complete opposite. He was always hugging kissy and and Jane would cringe at his touch. He would be happy to live with her and not have anything to do with the rest of the world. Atz Lee senior is the same. Jane wants to experience the world. Wish them both the best. Jane will have a blast being single. Atz Lee will find someone that wants the simple secluded life that he desires

Since the beginning of the program I strongly felt that Atz and Jane were the most disparate couple, and I very often wondered how long they would stay together. Mentally, spiritually. they are just too different. I think Jane was trying hard to "fit in" and be "normal", when she is full of boundless energy and seemingly needing adventure and a diverse life. Atz was always rather broken to me, and when I read about the fractured family he came from, it made sense that he needed Jane more than she needed him. Maybe she stayed because she felt sorry for him.
But when he was insisting on that cabin in the middle of nowhere, I could see trouble ahead because Jane would never be happy there. There is always one thing that is constant in all life, and that is change. I hope they both become happy and fulfilled in their new lives apart.

Jane has been divorced for years if you watch the show, what did Atz do for the family, Jane is the one that's always hunting and fishing, gardening or canning, she all the time helping Otto or Charlet or Eve, the girl even works on Bering Sea Gold for Emily finding gold and what is Atz doing, making a stinking little outhouse size cabin someplace in the woods for nothing, he couldn't even help his brother Shane build his house but Jane did, you can do way better than him Jane, he needs a mother not a wife, good luck Jane but you won't need it girl you've been on your own for years
