Somehow this topic is not 100%accurate on how TSMC semiconductor business make its way to become a dominant player in the world from Taiwan HQ and now gradually expanding to restore Japan and USA as Tri-Pact team in the same field together. In other words, total removal of China EDA and CAD capability and isolation of Semiconductor chip business to the US market.

As for India, i would strongly suggest India government to utilize its engineers of expertise in the same field by forming a strong partnership with Taiwan's PSMC and Foxconn now gradually pulling away from China while investing in India for Apple smartphone chips supply chain. This is the trends for India and you must grab hold of this opportunity to grow together in the field.
