Bambu lab AMS infinite loop / clogged / bug

Here’s how I fixed my AMS unit after it was stuck in an infinite loop of “unwind”.
Btw, I even tried factory reset before what I show in the video, and it did not help, so don’t waste your time with that. Follow this method.

Written instructions:

1. Remove spool from the slot that is problematic “red flashing light”

2. Use some pliers and push in the lock that holds the tube at the rear of the printer in. At the rear of the machine.

3. Unwind a spool of filament until you get roughly 1 meter of filament, push this into the tube that you disconnected from your printer. When the filament stops, you apply some light pressure to the end of the filament to keep the pressure on.

4. In the printer, activate the rewind feature for the problematic filament slot. If not available, restart your machine.

5. As the machine starts rewinding material, it will grab the one you are feeding it from the rear of the unit, and push it through, with the broken parts as well.

6. Pull out the material strand after the machine calms down.

7. Insert your spool as normal and continue printing.
