In 5 days my shoulder was 50% better. In a month it was fixed. This exercise is a MUST for shoulders. It strengthens & activates the two muscles that upwardly rotate your shoulder blade to open up space in the shoulder. If your shoulder blade doesn't move properly it causes impingement, rotator cuff strain, & tendinitis. Together with the Shoulder Combination exercise (linked in the description) my shoulders feels bombproof.

You can do this on a bed. Just grab the bedspread, duvet, or blanket to use instead of the towel.
