So you asked why Lambert didn’t just fight Abigail. They’re very specific types of vampires. Since she most likely just bit Lambert like she did Sammy, she can control him which is why he can’t fight her. When Lambert bites Frank, Lambert gives Frank his blood to 1) turn him waaaay faster and 2) he has autonomy over himself so he can’t be controlled 👍🏻
If I’m not mistaken, had Lambert just bit Frank and let him turn slowly, Abigail should’ve been able to control Frank by extension 🤔

Also, Joey didn’t get turned because she would need time to change like Sammy did since he didn’t give her his blood. If Frank had given her his blood, she would’ve turned quickly like he did.
