ordered a vr ready computer but there is only one hdmi port, what do I do? I have the aurora from alienware.

This helped alot. So basically I need to unplug my monitor to use my VR head set. That sounds like a big pain. Is there a splitter you can get or something? Any help would be good, Looking to buy this head set soon and need all the info I can get.

Ok this should help listen up if your oculus rift s usb isn’t working and it has a yellow triangle on it in device manager and it says code 31 bla bla bla fellow and your display port isn’t getting detected fellow my steps it worked for me. Step 1 uninstall rift s in device manger and tick the box uninstall all drivers then keep the usb cord in and make sure it’s in the 3.0 usb slot then on device manager uninstall intel(R) 6 series/c200 chipset Etc. Then ur mouse should disconnect then shut ur pc down by holding the on button for 15 seconds then turn it back on and load up oculus and it should pick up your usb now your display port for your display port to work it needs to be connected to your graphics card which is we’re your hdmi wire is if u don’t have a display port there it means u have a old graphic card like the gtx 710 or something you need something like a GTX 1050 to Wichita is £130 I bought one and put it in easy and it came with a display port next to the hdmi port now oculus picks up my usb and display port fellow these steps and it should fix your problem also sub to me

Did anyone come up with any solutions in reference to the Oculus Rift DK 2 ( No HDMI connection)? I already check the compatibility of my computer. I notice many people were having this problem. I saw the new HDMI cable the Oculus is offering but i was not sure I needed the cable.

I have a acer box thing and I hate how that I can’t connect it and my graphic card ain’t compatible and I don’t have enough plugs
