I quit smoking 3 years ago after smoking for 40+ years. I had a health scare, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I feel so much better.

I never smoked or did drugs. I've drank extremely rarely (maybe once or twice a year) but I've stopped drinking at all. When I was in HS, it was pretty much required to smoke, do drugs, drink or go out and commit crimes. Since I never wanted a part in any of those, not only did I not have any friends, but was constantly bullied. However, if I could go back, I would not change anything.

I picked up cigarettes at rehab almost 2 years ago. They allow you nicotine, so one addiction replaced another. However, it's been almost 2 months no cigarettes!! It was super hard to stop, I am bipolar. I quit with patches and gum, and no therapist.

My dad smoked, he told me that he didn't have want me to ever smoke because it'll wreck my body he did it because he went through a stressful time in life and regretted it. Nicotine is rough.

I smoked heavily for 30 years. It's NEVER to late to quit. It's a long road to break free and you have to accept that whole heartedly. It took me TWO YEARS before my cravings subsided. Quiting just plain sux, get used to that and you will reverse age a little bit. Enjoy waking up without wheezing lungs. If you can go just one day without smoking, you can go the rest of your life without smoking.

I started smoking, at the age of 12. I quit when I was 35, and started vaping. Now I am 43. That was the one of the best decisions that I ever made. I don't wake up coughing up junk, and then coughing throughout the day. I hardly ever cough, like I did when I smoked cigarettes. I svae money as well.

42+ years ago. One morning I didn't have a cigarette until an hour after getting up. The next day, I extended that by half an hour. And I kept doing that until I wasn't to have a cigarette until late in the day. At that point, I quit for good. It was a hard struggle, and even now I still have dreams that I've started smoking again. But at the same time, thinking of smoking makes me ill, and prevents me from doing so. The fact that I started that *after* getting up after a good night's sleep means that I'd already cleared a lot of the products of smoking out of my body, so waiting a little longer to have a smoke wasn't all that difficult. If you want to quit smoking, , give this a try. It doesn't working fore everyone, but it does work for some. And the savings you get from snot smoking are tremendous.

I'm under the age of 35 and I very vividly remember smoking in restaurants. It was disgusting. I couldn't ever breathe in it. Granted, with how I am around smoke, my doc said I'd probably die early from smoking with how sensitive I am, so just another positive to not do such a horrible thing 😂

7:32 I am only 12 (almost 13, will be in 2 months). I am in 7th grade. I watch "The infographics" to learn more, so I make better choices in life. I am a straight A student and only care to learn about a couple of interesting topics.

So you like to “feel good” today but when get to your mid 60’s you want to feel weak and short of breath when you’re doing simple everyday tasks? Yep, Keep smoking!
Both of my parents smoked. They both have severe COPD, needing additional oxygen just to be able to walk through a store.
