Synopsis: Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) and Lan Mondragoran (Daniel Henney) introduce themselves to the young men and women who will accompany them on their world-spanning journey.

Moiraine, a member of a magical organization, takes five young people on a journey, believing that one of them might be the reincarnation of the Dragon, a powerful individual prophesied to save the world or destroy it.

Fourteen books each the length of a Stephen King novel. They're definitely not going to have the same problem as GOT. They don't need good writers so much as really good editors. It would be nice if they pull it off.

PASS!!!! I will stick to the books. This looks so absolutely lame. I mean seriously with Amazon money they couldn’t hire a great character and costume designer? Also I love how he lifts his hood like we’re supposed to know who he is. When he said his name I’m like “who the hell are you supposed to be?”. Big time pass.

To be honest i’m just not feeling it, I have watched earlier trailers but it is just lacking in so many levels, no depth, gravitas. The actors look like catalogue models and disappointingly dull character wise. Didn't know that Edmonds field was home to Sharans or Sea folks, did I miss something in my readings?That is one thing that the story depicted with great intricacies, the interesting different nationalities and unique characteristics that were part of their culture, this feels contrived and wokeish “sigh”. The scenery is just so bland and generic,   and the acting “mäh”. Was looking forward to watching it being a childhood fan, but now, why even bother?

My first impression: TOO dramatic...aka too much like theatre. But hey if the plot is good...maybe the horrible acting i can deal with?

This scene make no sense, they have Nothing, no bag no traveling staff, just nothing logs and that girl naeve just standing up grabbing that knive look ridiculus immagine the strangers have swords and shields what you gonna do with that knive nothing, any type of village have security at the gates realisticaly yet that girl had the need to stand up ready at that knive questioning compleately silly come on people

From a director's perspective:

0:00 Excessive lightning - one is perfect, two is overdone, excessive. Music plays too high of a volume so early. It needs to FADE IN prior to the scene, not OVERTAKE the lightning happening in the background.

0:30 Music should have continued on at the same volume at the start, as the entertaining, jovial atmosphere is still happening. It should gradually fade out and stop when the door opens with Lan walking in.

0:53 Lan's entrance should have stopped upon stepping in through the door, covering the outdoor environment partially, for moiraine to come in from behind him. This scene is overdone.

0:56 Nynaeve should have approached more cautiously, not confidently. It's painting her more as an aggressor vs a cautious individual in the inn. Dagger should be held in a more subtle way - either on the same side as the hand gripping it.

1:18 Potato face. Her head should be tilted lower a tiny bit. This is sending the wrong message - makes her look over confident, challenging. Should be similar to 1:55

1:31 Angle shot and the Innkeeper's facial expression is ridiculous lol. Reminds me of something I've seen in adult scenes.

1:52 Serious? Nynaeve's still gripping onto her dagger?

2:00 Innkeeper's (seriously, who is this actress?) facial expression is ridiculous - it appears mocking, or condescending. What was the emotion the innkeeper was supposed to make? Please don't tell me surprised - this is not the first encounter in the scene.

2:03 Hand gesture by Moiraine here is not elegant at all - more like a little girl. This is followed by a hunched back posture while walking past.
