Does your dog struggle with leash greetings?

Here is a clip from one of my coaching sessions where we are teaching a socially awkward dog to learn how to greet.

My rules for my dog are:
"Go say hi" is a cue to my dog that he is allowed to go and be social
I want a relaxed leash wherever possible
I like to position myself to the side of my dog or just slightly in front of him to make it easy to keep moving when its time to go
Greetings on leash are just that, a sniff and then we keep moving.
Ideally a dog handshake is sniffing each others butts, yes its gross but it is important to them.
Absolutely no humping!
If the dogs want to play and its appropriate than I can remove the leash and let my dog have fun.
If it is a city sidewalk greeting we keep moving after the greeting - no playing
