Honestly, this phone's good for being a backup phone for calling and texting. But for everything else, it's not that good. But still, it's still good for collecting and such

I just bought 2 CDMA iPhone 4’s off eBay, white & black. The iPhone 4 is special to me because it was the first smartphone my parents got, they upgraded from some Samsung slide phones to an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 4S. Can’t wait to receive them so I can jailbreak them both and mess around with them

I got one while on leave from Afghanistan in early 2010. I kept it until early 2017. I had an iPhone 7 for work during 2016 but went back to the 4 for a few months until the battery finally gave out. I even tapped a external battery to the case so I could keep it powered when the battery was going out. The only reason the phone would not be good now even with a new battery is because software upgrades and app updates require better hardware over time. But the design of those phones could be brought back with a better camera and updated hardware and it would sell. The problem I see with bringing back the smaller phones though is the same problem of new software requiring more and more hardware. They would have to limit software advances to be supported on what hardware can be put on a smaller phone. So the larger phones would not be able to be utilized to there fullest potential. I don’t think we will see the smaller phones from Apple again unless someone figures out how to take an old iPhone 4 and retrofit upgrade it with the parts from a newer generation.

Apparently i it can run spotify, is kinda slow but considering the phone age is not bad acually.
I really like the design and the overal size that fit into my palm perfectly.

Even if it’s slow and all it’s still a good phone. Rn I have an iphone xr, but lately my cousin has been after an iPhone. He don’t care if it’s old he just wants a phone that he can enjoy from. Im planning on getting him this phone soon. He is 8 and I’m in high school. He doesn’t need a phone like it’s a necessity but yh, this is a minor gift

I just bought another one of these for the nostalgia and history since I had a 4S when they first came out. I plan to jailbreak it and play alot of the games I can't play anymore on modern iPhones due to them not being on the app store or not updated in a decade or so.

Cool demo. I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.2. It's slow but I get what you and others commenting here are saying. Slick design, feels as expensive as my iPhone 2016 SE and 2020 SE. I tried a SIM card from Speedtalk. Couldn't get it to work. What SIM card/network are you using to get service to make calls and SMS? Thanks
