My advice to be better chess player

1. Stop doing early Queen attacks and learn how to stop or prevent early Queen attacks (If you don't know what it is, look it up on YouTube).

2. Just battle against the Chess bots ( If too easy, make it harder, if too hard, make it easier).

3. Maybe start in Chess with London if you don't like london then don't do London.

4. Play Chess like about 5 days a week.

5. Sometimes take a break from Chess like one day, 3 days or even 5 days etc. It might work because people would be better in chess if they take breaks.

6. Get your sleep in track.

7. Acknowledge that Stock Fish 🐟, is for learning not cheating.

The tip about using an app to review and analyse your games has blown my mind! I've been trying to improve my game by watching YouTube, reading books, learning a couple of openings, the usual stuff, and was feeling super pleased with myself when I started winning some games against an app on my phone at level 6 (which claims to be ELO 1435 but that is probably massively overestimated). I was so proud of myself until I ran an analysis in the ChessIs app and realised how many bad moves and blunders I'd made! This is going to help me so much... thank you Anna

Is there a way to be rated without joining a tournament? I don’t really know how good I am but I do puzzles all the time.

Anna is such a wonderful person. She brings chess down to a (700) level I can understand. She doesn't just make it on her looks. Just love this woman!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It's a huge rush when watching a Mangus or Naka game & they make the move you calculated as the best move.

I do puzzles at work! I have a chess board set up at my desk and solve them on the side while I work!

I’m learning so much, especially when Anna and her mother were discussing and teaching a game

I think the sit on your hands thing is the most important advice.

I just met with both Pia and Anna in Stockholm, for a short chat. They are such lovely persons, both of them. So nice and gentle.

Anna you are beautiful but for me I really appreciate the way you love and respect your parents. Every time you talk about them you express how proud you feel about your parents. The young generation should do the same.

Great advice. Tactics puzzles are key for people 1500 and lower, probably for higher. The book that helped me most was Simple Chess by Stean.

Thanks Anna for the tips . Also you didn't mention to be regular in our effort as evidenced by your own regular work ethic where you upload almost daily . Great advice thanks .
