I like to think that Steve is such an immortal character whenever you spawn a new world, the main character has already lived and died there so many times he’s forgotten all the other places he’s built and stored treasure.Those placed chests and built structures imply an entity as capable as Steve but not autonomous as he is would have done so; playing the game as Steve is like waking up for the first time and being able to understand the world you were mindlessly living in for so long

As much as I love modern Minecraft for its technical side, I miss the classic feeling of being truly alone in the world. With all the sentient life, even in desolate places like the nether, it can be hard to get that same feeling.

You can say villagers are dumb but they have the capacity to build/summon iron golems, sentient creatures, made of metal, capable of identifying threats while not wandering away from the village, id say the ships are makes of villagers or pillagers who were unsuccessful in their travels
