People need to understand that in public they can't just magically have private conversations however they like becuase they feel like it. So many people talk with the person on speaker but expect to not get glares from others around them is hysterical

I usually remove my headphones and start visibly and uncomfortably watching people's phones when their TikTok is too loud. So far it's working

Even outside of phone calls, it's crazy how many people don't seem to realize sound travels more than 1-2 feet.

I'm not eavesdropping when I can make out your whole conversation from my desk, with my headphones in.

One of my co-workers does this, and it typically doesn't bother me... Until a customer comes to the window (I work in a booth), and he's standing off to the side listening to a twerking tutorial.

Fr!!!! My mom is one of these kinds of people. For example my mom would listen to werewolf smut audio books OUT LOUD in the break room during lunch at her job. I only know this bc my BF had the unfortunate luck to be her coworker for several months before she got him fired for bugging him at work until he'd say something that offended her and she'd throw a tantrum. She uses crocodile tears A LOT and for some reason it works on her bosses

first one, PEOPLE AT WORK DO THIS ALL THE theyll literally play everything on full volume on our downshifts. on of them plays video games on their phone and BANGS THE MOTHERFUCKING table if anything interesting happens
